Dear Friends:
I would like to thank all of you that supported the event, and enjoyed a beautiful day of Golf last April 30th. I am publishing a couple of links here showing video of our activity at Minamisanriku. Thanks again.
Also I am updating a report on MSWord showing the results of the tournament itself.
With Best Regards

Edo Golf & BBQ in Solidarity with Tohoku Report
Congratulations to the New Undisputed Champion:
The Only and One …. Mr. DUDLEY CLARK (spike)
Dear Spike … Congratulations on you performance and big effort, both on the field and also after in the Ceremony and Funds Raising effort. With a fine 45 49, for a lucky handicap of 21.6, for a net 72.5.
As you can see from the above, after Spike’s superb performance, our golfjin members were relegated to 4th place by Jack Snell and 9th by Savuth Kong.
Nevertheless, except for the delay in the arrival of the bus with the consequent troubles to the organization, everything went smoothly in pretty fair weather.
Then we have the fund raising event and BBQ, I must proudly say that we did a great job, counting the payment of competition fee, and raffle tickets, and auctioned items, we collected gross 255,700 yen. A great amount indeed for which I am truly endebted to you all. Your generous donations made many people happy.
I must also thank our friends, who donated the prizes, starting with Brian Casey with an Australian aborigin instrument, collector item, which I have passed on to be offered at collectors auctions, then John Hughes, with beautiful wines from his One Source Japan, company offering the best. Mr. Jochen Loehnert gave us golf balls autographed by Jason Day and Nicky Campbell. Mr. Warren Arbuckle donated a Piranha driver, Mr. Paul Gauthier donated a magnificent Maruman driver, Mr. Muneo Shinjou donated sea products from his company and Mr. Nick Coyle donated golf balls.
Besides that as usual Harunanomori C.C. and Mr. Jim Fletcher provided beautiful presents. Not to forget Mr. Shogo Kurokawa brought us 5 bottles of wonderful Jinryou liquor.
If anybody has been forgotten, please forgive me. But to many things to keep in my head.
Must share with you also that the adventure going to Minamisanriku was extremely fulfilling, hard but fulfilling. We spent 36 hours on the run, and could give our BBQ and dances for 100 displaced people in a devastated area on May 1st, Hayashi in the coast of Minamisanriku,. Then on May 2nd, we had the same for 300 people from noon until 6 p.m. at the Minamisanriku Elementary School, which is serving as a shelter now.
Thanks my friends, for giving me the opportunity to go there and take our love to these people. I will be sharing the link to the video report soon. Meanwhile, allow me to share with you some pictures. I do not have many, so if any of you has some to share you would be more than welcome.
The link below is the final round of the volunteers expressing feelings after the activities and the grateful words from the representatives of the refugees.
