This course was where the Ladies Cyber Agent Cup was held earlier this year. So I was really looking forward to playing here....

I arrived late to the course due to one of our members missing his train (I had to pick him up). So I missed the 300 yard driving range and approach area, but did manage to practise some putting.

What a course. Quite narrow, some fantastic risk and reward holes (driving over trees to cut doglegs etc). It is cut into a pine forest, which added to the fun on errant shots. We hit a fair few trees between the 4 of us trying to get the ball back onto the fairway. We played the new West course, which is longer than the old West course and is on some kind of Korai. This 'new' Korai is, we all agreed, as good as any bent and played true - not like the usual Korai most people are used too. The pins were placed in the worst (for a high handicapper) possible places as it was a Monday and quite quiet, which led to lots of 3 putts.

We all shot way over our usual scores, but enjoyed it so much we are going back in November to play the West course.

This course is hard - if you only play to beat your PB don't come here. If you fancy a challenge then this course is ideal.

The only reason this is not a 5 is that the course has automatic carts, which were very slow.

Look for the special deals - the whole day came to 10,000yen!!!
