Thread: Segovia Golf Club in Chiyoda - 19 September

There's a holiday on 19 September, so I thought I'd make a pair of tee times at a new (for me) course! It's the crazy Segovia Golf Club in Chiyoda, which is a rather odd looking Muirhead course. It's easy access on the Joban, too.

I just cancelled one of the tee times as we only had 4 people signed up, so we'll just go with the 10:07 tee time.

There's actually two much earlier tee times available (7:30 & 7:52), but unless anybody wants to change to the earlier time I'll just keep it at 10:07.

This course has SO much water! Fortunately we won't hit into any of it

Are you driving up (yes, yes, stupid question I know)?
Just wondering if you are, then maybe Aya (Maybe) and I could hitch a ride. Also - what do you think of playing much earlier or does it mean our departure time is far too early for a Sunday morning? I think we could only do it if we drive, trains would be impossible.

I'm driving, but I wasn't planning on passing through Tokyo (just going up the C2 to the Joban). I could pick people up from Ishioka (near the course).

Just checked Norikae Annai - there's a 5:50 departure from Ueno that would get you in at 7:14. From there it's at most 10 minutes to the course, so the 7:52 tee time would be doable.

I'm OK either way!

Rakuten GORA sent me some special offers on this weekend including Segovia GC
and I grabbed a 9:54 tee time for 13500 Yen.
How about bringing our tee time a bid forward and saving 1000 Yen?

I got the Rakuten Gora mail magazine this weekend but I didn't see Segovia on it.
