FrankM,
Yes, that is the right location that you provided the link to. Our website has a few issues that we are hoping to have resolved by the end of the month. We are in the process of doing a complete overhaul. The current website is basically just a copy of our US based website. The new site will be tailored to our market.
Thanks for the good catch. Look forward to meeting you and everyone else!

Google map: Link
Directions:
Come of Hiroo station (exit 3) and turn right. Walk about 200 yards or so and you'll see thr Lambourghini garage. The Qiz building is on the other side of the road.
Plan of action:
6:30-7:00 - Meet and Greet
7:00-7:15 - Introduction of Cool Clubs by Pete Weber (Head Fitter)
7:15-8:30 - Demo driver fittings for 2 randomly selected participants + Putter fittings for everyone
8:30 - 9:00 Long Drive Contest & Closest to Pin Contest (2 winners get a full 1 hour fitting at another time with the club/s of their choice)
What to bring:
- Your driver
- Your 100 Yard club
- Your putter
Optional: golf glove/golf shoes
If anyone has sent their clubs by takyubin to a course they're playing at this weekend, not to worry. There are plenty of demo clubs you can use there and Pete can still assess your optimum settings easily enough. It would be helpful though if you knew the specs of your current driver/putter etc (shaft flex, make, weight, length etc.)
Have a good one!![]()
Went in today and had a driver fitting.
Very enjoyable as well as educational.
Was nice talking to Pete and learning all about their company.
At my current level of play...chaging drivers isn't going to help!!!
I may have to look at putters though in the future and go back and do a full fitting.
In the meantime I'll work on improving my body first and then work on the equipment.

Grant, is there another Demo Evening already set?
Marcus

And for those of you who missed out on the 2 demo evenings or had to pull out, there'll be another one in September. I'll post details of this when Pete and I have agreed on a date.![]()
having trouble concentrating at work as we're only a few hours away
I'll be there.
hmm, my message disappeared into cyberspace...
I'll be there.
It's should be back viewable now. We're no longer fixing bugs on the current website platform as it just takes time away from getting the new platform ready for launch.
I'm in, even though I wasn't too happy about my... Ahem... driver's performance the other day. I'll show my driver who's boss tonight though![]()
I went to the Demo evening at Cool Clubs and learned quite a bit from Pete not only about what I needed to play better, but also about how awesome the system they use to improve a golfer's game is. I had a small idea that technology was available to measure everything in a swing, but it was impressive to see it in action.
During the fitting I was shown how the launch angle on my driver was way too high and that I was losing distance off the tee. My driver is 8.5*, but my launch angle on just about every hit was between 15-18*. Additionally, my ballspin rate for the driver was too high. Even with my clubhead speed averaging around 104mph, I think my furthest drive on the launch monitor was about 260 yards. Lowering it would give me more distance. Simply, my ball flight was too high.
Pete fitted me with a couple of drivers that felt excellent, but my ball placement for my driver (to far forward) was the problem. We tried moving the ball back in my stance and gripping with a stronger left hand. This resulted in a couple of shots that had a lower trajectory, but went way left. So, in this case, Pete advised me that I should keep my driver because I do hit it pretty straight and a new one won't help unless I buy a 3* driver.
Now that I think about Pete's advice, it is probably the nicest "Your swing is too screwed up for technology to compensate" that I've ever heardThanks Pete, you have tons of tact
After I fix my ball placement for my driver to lower my launch angle I am sure that another issue will come up that you can fix.
In the hopes to gain 20-30 yards on my driver, and without getting fitted today, I probably would have ordered a new one (about 50,000¥) that would have done little, if anything, to improve my game.![]()
Thanks Pete,
Andrew
