Here's a golf plan you don't often get the chance to do in Japan.
Midday start - play through
I've reserved 2 tee times for this excellent course in Chiba. ¥17,300 with lunch included is a good deal for playing here on a peak season weekend.
(According to the booking, players should have lunch before they tee off)
If you'd like to play, please sign up here.![]()

I am heading back to polar country in August, but I am back for this one, hopefully not so hot then.![]()

It says (4 Spots taken/4 spots available) allthough it says 2 tee times and 8 players in the heading.![]()

Too muchI dont know where my one braincell was
last night!
Those are big aquavit glasses Jorn.I think I spotted your problem!

The size of thimbles but it's potent stuff!![]()

I also noticed it is very close to Narita Nomori, we could do another 9 holes in floodlights same evening when we are out there anyway?
Hi guys!
Can I get a ride with someone please?
Hilmar
According to the transport information: --- "Take the Keisei or Narita Line to Narita Airport Terminal 2. The club operates a shuttle bus from there. Depart time 8.20am - Reservations required."
Trouble is, if I go to T2 I might get on a plane as per normal - that cannot be good.
More importantly - it appears the club bus picks up a wee bit early for a noon start - does anyone know what our alternative arrangements should be? I don't mind taking the train.

Putting my two cents in,
According to Gora, if there are 8 or more people,
call the club house to arrange for a separate pick-up.
If all of you are going by train then call the club to reserve a ride.
Otherwise it's a 4,000yen taxi ride from Narita airport terminal 2.
Have fun!![]()

Thank you Yasu-san. We can always count on you my friend.
I know Phil will be driving, and so will I.
Grant and I have planned to go together and there are two more seats available.
If more that three people need a lift, I have Plan B:
I will rent one of the following cars with seven seats and we will split gas, tolls, etc.
Toyota-renta-car
How does that sound??
Cheers,
Toshi

Hi Toshi
A grand plan - well as I am in the "central Tokyo" area perhaps it is best if I put up my hand for a lift with you, if I may?
Many thanks
Peter.
Sounds great Toshi. Can I rob one seat as well?
Hilmar

Can I get a lift too, Toshi-san?
Hi Peter, Hilmar, Yi Han and Miwa-san,
OK. Will send you all an email so we can discuss the details of the outing.
How about renting a table, four chairs and a truck like this?
You can have a BBQ party on the way back from the golf course.![]()
Seat belts?
Sent you email - not sure what Jorn is doing for transport; Phil has a two seater with his preferred passenger being his clubs I think.
Last spot taken by Shiori.![]()
According to AccuWeather.com (Granto's favourite weather wrongcaster) it will be pleasant with sunshine, and 26do. What could be more perfect than that?![]()
What no ThunderStorm?!I don't believe it!

Hi Grant, everyone,
I happened to check Gora Rakuten & realize that there is a special deal of 15,300 yen for the exact same tee times 12:01 and 12:08 with lunch included!! Believe this is the 'late-bird' special. I have gone ahead to book these 2 tee times for 4 players each under my name.
The only difference is that there is an additional charge if we are unable to fill 4 players for each slot, but no issues for us since we already have 8 confirmed players! =)
Grant - would you like to cancel the original booking at the rate of 17,300 yen?
Didn't mean to disrupt original plans, but figured we could all save 2,000 yen!
Regards,
Yi Han
I've cancelled the ¥17,300 booking so you can take the ¥15,300 price![]()

Thanks Grant!
Hi all,
