For anyone's who's mad enough, I've reserved a February tee time at Kazusa CC in Chiba. This is a well-rated course easily accessible from Tokyo.
Green fee: ¥12,900
This course is accessible by train if you don't have a car:
Tokyo Station: Take the Sazanami #1 (Ltd express on the Keiyo Line) 7.30am
Arrive Goi station 8.11am
Club bus: 8.15am

Same here Tomoco-san. Actually let's hope the day is a bit warmer than today at Ohmurasaki - it was really windy and therefore a big chill factor - but we did not see any polar bears
I think you will come to the course via train and I have already made a reservation for the bus between Goi station and the course. The bus will leave at 8:15a, so that please make sure you will be at the bus stop at Goi station before 8:15a.

YES - Tomoco-san - super freezy and, but for 3 triple bogeys on holes 10-12 I actually played quite well considering.

If you want to take a bus at 8:15am, the reservation is necessary. I just called Kazusu CC and I was told that nobody from our group has made any reservation. I can do so on your behalf - just let me know. Also, the weather forecast does not look great. I wonder if it is possible to cancel in case of rain.

Very interesting because Tomoco-san says above that she made a bus booking. I think Yuji-san is driving so if you are making a bus booking please also include Tomoco Esaka and Peter Gaydon on the booking sheet.
Also - in the event of rain, I will still play. I am hareotoko
Periods of rain means before we play, during the lunch break and after we finish!

I am very GOLF OTAKU. I usually play golf every Sunday with my friends. The reason why I try to join this community is because I am planing to go to USA on this June to vist NY,AZ,CA. Can anyone guss what I will do there??
I wanna visit Bethpage Black (NY), TPC scottsdale(AZ),and Pebble beach(CA).
I usually go to Perth Australia once in a year and stay about a month to play golf.(drinking good wines too...) So I want to get used to play with western peoples for when I will go to USA.You know I might play with unknown peoples and don't want to be too nervous.
I really don't want to tell that but my handycap is now 9. I really don't look like 9 and all of my friend is making fun of me allways. For example my driving distance is about 220-240y. I am really bad at putting too. My play stile is very restrained. I went to KASUSA this new years day and played a happy new year compatition. Very frozen condtion but I hit 39 42. I was best gloss and 3rd prize. Here is a very last request.I would like to play from black tee. I am known there so I am arowd to play from black even though I am not a member there.

Thanks for the intro - I suppose we will all leave ours until Saturday! But for me the black tees are fun and I am happy to do so. I haven't played with Pavel so I am not so sure about his enthusiasm for it. Tomoco-san should play from the blue tees then??
As for transport - yes I think we are locked into the train bus/combo and easier to leave it like that, but the others might take up your offer.
I am playing Kazusa on Friday also therefore I should have some idea of the layout for Saturday. Nice to meet a fellow junkie - this will be my 64th round in less than 2 years in Japan!

I got a text message from Peter. Apparently, there's no Sazanami train so you need to change at Soga. Best check your train route before you head off tomorrow
