A painful picture to look at if your Kyle Stanley!
Oops! Someone thought Kyle Stanley was a lock to win at Torrey Pines | Devil Ball Golf - Yahoo! Sports
In case you hadn't heard, he blew a 3 stroke lead on the 18th on Sunday at the Farmer's Insurace Open (then lost in a playoff) and the $1m went to Brandt Snedeker instead. Ouch!![]()

I watched it all unfold last night on Golf Network. Even though I knew what was going to happen, it was still pretty painful to watch. Only saving grace is that it wasn't or as important or as bad as Van Der Velde British Open meltdown.
I wonder if that will teach him to keep his head screwed tightly while playing![]()
This is, unfortunately, the same guy who lost the John Deere Classic to Steve Stricker last year. When Steve birdied the last hole with a phenomenal fairway bunker shot of 170yards which was a banana hook to just off the green and then holed the pitch to win, beating Stanley by 1 shot.
Spike![]()
Good point Spike![]()
Poor guy. I wonder if Stricker's phenomenal birdie came into play on the last hole this time, or if Stanley just had a brainfart and hit a shot with a low probability.
Yep, had a lot of those on Sunday (brain farts) and duffed a lot of those on Sunday (miracle shots).
Cheers

Yep, I can relate all too well. But that would be funny to hear though![]()
"Who does he think he is? Tiger?... Silly Rabbit, tricks are for kids."
I am not sure which us better Ping, the "Fluff" of a duff shot or the "Tock" of a scull. I had quite a few brains farts as well on the last round, and luckily only 1 turned out to have a major effect on my score card. When I hit all except one, a nice "Sunuva.... Hey! that wasn't too bad!" could be heard echoing off the trees.
Anyone see who won in Phoenix at the weekend?
In true comic-book fashion, Kyle "I completely blew it last week" Stanley came from 8 shots behind to win this week!
I'm glad to see him exorcising those demons so quickly
