They've put a bit of money into the place and got it looking good. There's a few new pot bunkers that were never there before on a few holes, a lot of greens have been redone as well. The greens were the quickest I've played them last time I went back.
Reasonably priced at $40 bucks for a round at Shelley Beach. Everglades is only about $22 or in yen, what's that? About 1300 yen!!! Gotta get back there!.![]()
¥1,300 for 18 holes...about the same price as 1 hole in Japan![]()
Membership is dirt cheap there at Tuggerah. Something like A$18 a week, so $900 a year. I read on their web site that the comp fees are going up.
Crickey, the members cried, it's up to $7!!!!
Members Competition Green Fee (inc. Assoc.)
$7
Members Social (inc. Assoc.)
$8
Members Twilight (inc. Assoc.)
$5
Juniors
$3
Junior Twilight
$2
(Twilight: Oct – Mar after 4pm; Apr – Sept after 3pm)
Junior membership fees of $115 a year!
I may see if they have any openings there in the pro shop!![]()

I'd really enjoy playing the old course at St. Andrews. Went with my company there and some fellow scheduled us on for the new course. We only had the day and there was no time to reset it.I guess the shot I really want to hit is the road hole #17 and see how I fared and then walk up 18 crossing the ol bridge there.

I'll be in Orlando again for a few days in October and definitely will go back to play Osprey Ridge again. Here's a Google Earth View of most of the course.
Another place I'd love to return to is Bandon Dunes, where I played the original course back in 2001, but didn't have time to try Pacific Dunes.
Do you know these ones?
Looks nice!
Give us a clue![]()
Tiger eats both of them up.Looks nice!
Give us a clue
I know...not much of a clue, but think multiple wins.
Would help if we could see the other one, I get a red box!![]()
Torrey Pines is the second one right?
The first looks like Muirfield where Tiger just won a couple of days ago.
yes??
woy woy
I think you're wrong WW as I don't see pines, but what do I know. I thought Bay Hill, but no, that doesn't work.
More pics puulease.
Woy Woy is right!
1st is #14 at Muirfield Village in Dublin Ohio, home of the Memorial which Tiger has won 4? 5? times
and
Torrey Pines where Tiger has also won ...well just about every time he teed it up there Amateur or Pro.
Well Done!
Next...

I have a Mac - the mouse doesn't have a right click button![]()
The first one I saw a few days ago and added to the homepage slideshow for the fantasy league (Slide 8)
Pebble beach - looks like it but might not be. (Inspired guess)
And saw this on BBC.co.uk this morning: BBC SPORT | Golf | Twenty Ten course in photos
Now we know how you find out![]()
2 out of 3 ain't bad.
1) Yes, Bethpage Black - where the US Open will be held in 2 weeks. (Sorry for not resizing)
2) Not Pebble Beach
3) Celtic Manor 2010 Course is right! The Welsh Open was just held there, and this course will host next year's Ryder Cup. (I've got my name in for the ticket lottery, do you?)
So, What is number TWO? Well now that Hacker has spoiled the fun, I'll tell you that it's Whistling Straits.
From now on, I'll download, resize and rename the photos!!
Good Job Grant.
Oh ! Lovely course.
Pebble beach looks interensting near beach. I wish sometime.
St. Andrews: I 've played not old, but new and Jubil about 5 years ago.
Sure, I enjoyed Pot-bunker.
Augusta: Never, but visisted Atlant for business several times, but before
starting golfing. I should have started earlier.

How 'bout this'n? This would be your view from 448-yard, par-4 18th hole if you nailed about a 270 yard drive into the wind. The course was rated as the 3rd most difficult course in the U.S. has a rating of 74.4 and a 158 slope from the gold tees. Now it is still in the top 10.
Rumor has it that when the course first opened, making par on this hole resulted in a free cart bag.

Is it Koolau?
If yes, I confirm the 18th hole is a nightmare!
The locals advise you to take the same number of balls than your hdcp is! But amazing place!

It looks like Koolau a bit, but not quite sure. It was a tough hole the 18th when I played there. So tough in fact, there were two old guys on the first tee running a small book; 50bucks got you in and if you made par on the 18th you took it all. At that stage the pot was up to around 3500bucks...not bad. Suffice to say I didnt make par.
Chris
Yes, it is Koolau. Nice job
Not sure how many people know it, but from the T-box, you can look about 70 degrees to the right, over the trees, and you can see a high-wire tower on the side of the Koolau mountains. Hitting a monster drive directly at that tower will give you about a 100-120 yard approach shot from the middle of the fairway. Anything short of 300 and you'll need a bucket for all the short, lost balls that you'll find in the Mohatmas, and a chainsaw. Amazingly enough, someone is in the books for making a hole in one on it by doing just as I wrote. It's recorded as 448 yards, but taking it over the trees is shorter than that.
It was my friends home course and he regularly shot +1 or +2 there. He moved to Texas and was trying to work his way onto the PGA , but I haven't heard from him lately.
