Hey All! I'm thinking about a mid-week golf trip to Hokkaido in October. Does anyone have any recommendations on courses to play and/or hotel/golf packages? I really don't care where I go, anywhere around Niseko, Asahikawa, Sapporo, or anywhere else is daijobou if it comes recommended! Thanks in advance...

Hey there TokyoHillbilly, I'm going to Hokkaido next week too but on business and no play.
If you want to keep costs at a minimum, the best would be to get a golf pack (air/hotel/transport/play all incl.). Travel agents (JTB, Kinki, Tokyu, etc.) all have package tours with a fairly wide selection of courses to play. Famous courses can also be arranged for an extra fee. Some famous courses would be Sapporo GC Wattsu course、Otaru CC, Gozensui GC, etc.
Looking forward to your course report.
Have a good one,
Yasu

Here's some options with Odoroki Golf if you can read Japanese.
Don't forget your skis! The weather up there cools very quickly this time of year!

Thanks for the tips, Fellas! They'll get me headed in the right direction. I'll post what my plan is when/if I commit to something.
'Preciate it!

PS, I'm definitely bargain shopping and I'm not really concerned about playing "famous courses", I've probably not heard of them anyway. I'm just itching to play some good golf on some decent tracks and get out of the city for a few days.
I'll for sure be bringing my skis with me next time I go to Hokkaido!! Bring on the kona yuki!!!!!
